Oak Island Theory

I have three ideas about Oak Island. The first one is that the location they are digging in could possibly be an elaberate (it is very well done) distraction to the actual location on the island where the "treasure/secret" is hidden. The treasure could already have been found, and this is just a part of the trap that hid it (like, whats left of it).

OR...

(I'm leaning more towards this one)

The "treasure/secret" that the group who discovered it (or was in possesion of it) decided that it is too powerful for a small group of people to have (or even anyone), that they hid it so well, so that no-one would/could ever find it, or destroy themselves trying to find it, or destroy what they are looking for trying to find it. They left landmarks, so either they left it there so they could eventually go back to retrieve it, if they changed their minds and wanted it back or they needed it for something, so there's got to be something there. The traps are so elaberate, and well made, that obviously it was not just something like gold or gems, something worth more than that.

OR...

The group who built this trap could have just built it and made up a story to give people someting to do, or teach them a lesson - looking for what you dont have makes you easily loose site if what you already have and the value of it, for ex families and friends, because many families im sure were torn up from this. Probably not, but its an idea to put out there. Or they built this as a "practice" hidding place, to see if it would work, and the "treasure/secret" is somewhere else...hmm...

I dont think anyone willl actually find anything there, at least not anytime soon. I think that whatever was originally there could already be gone.

  1. I agree with your second theory too. There is no way the island is rigged with traps just to hide a little treasure chest of gold.
